Boca Raton

Boca Raton is the second largest city in Palm Beach county. It has five miles of Atlantic Ocean coastline, 46 parks and numerous golf courses. 

One of the parks along the beach is Red Reef Park. It is home to Gumbo Limbo Nature Center with sea tanks, a butterfly garden, trails and a sea turtle sanctuary. Gumbo Limbo also houses a research facility run by FAU where students study coral reefs, sea turtles, sharks, sea grass and other marine-related subjects. Burt Aaronson South County Reginal Park is another park located in West Boca Raton. This park has a golf course, a dog park, an amphitheater, a waterpark and a nature center. Sugar Sand Park is another wonderful park which contains the Children’s Science Explorium. 

Concerts and events are hosted downtown at the  Mizner Park Amphitheater. Some of Boca Raton’s annual activities are the Greek Festival, Festival of the Arts BOCA, the Brazilian Beat Festival, Meet Me Downtown Festival, and the Boca Raton Holiday Boat Parade.

Additionally, Boca Raton has three universities, numerous A rated public and private schools. The Boca Raton Museum of Art located downtown attracts visitors to its galleries and programs. There is fabulous shopping at Town Center and fine restaurants are too numerous to list.
